Today, we conclude the second edition of the National Green Hydrogen Congress in Huelva. Green Solar International has actively participated in these intense days of meetings, presentations, and discussions, where we have shared and debated the latest advancements with key industry stakeholders.
Key Takeaways from the National Green Hydrogen Congress in Huelva

From my perspective I highlight the following key takeaways:
🔌 Electric Infrastructure: The 2025-2030 planning by Redeia must create value for the sector by establishing a solid foundation for expanding access to the power grid.
🛠️ Hydrogen Backbone Infrastructure: Advancing the development of the hydrogen backbone network and confirming the milestones set by Enagás are essential to ensuring the efficient deployment of #GreenHydrogen.
💰 Associated Costs: Implementing cost reduction measures is crucial to enhancing the competitiveness of our projects, with a particular focus on electricity consumption tariffs and potential tariffs for injecting hydrogen into the future backbone network.
🤝 Public-Private Collaboration & Demand Stimulation: To accelerate the sector’s growth, it is vital to promote mechanisms such as injection tariff management, Contracts for Difference (CfD), blended financing, and OpEx support. These tools foster synergies between the public and private sectors and can help stimulate early-stage demand for green hydrogen.
These challenges also present significant opportunities for Green Solar International, driving us to continue working with determination on hydrogen project deployment and actively contributing to a sustainable energy transition.
