The Board of Directors of Green Solar International appoints Daniel Nilsson as the new MD of the large scale solar development operations of GSI Solar Ibérica, effective May 1, 2023.

Daniel Nilsson (46) holds an MSc in Business Administration and Management degree from Linköping University, and additional economics and management studies from University of Valencia and ESADE Business and Law School.
Daniel brings to GSI Ibérica an interesting mix of extensive experience from leading international operations in the Mediterranean countries in the real estate and clean energy sectors. He worked as CEO for leading Swedish real estate franchiser Swedbank Fastighetsbyrån in Spain, France and Portugal between 2007 and 2020, where he also was a member of the group executive committee of the parent company in Sweden. More recently he headed the expansion and growth of residential solar EPC Svea Solar in Spain between November 2020 and January 2023.
